Our guest homilist will be Rev. Dr. Thomas Davenport, O.P. Fr. Davenport studied physics at the California Institute of Technology and went on to earn a PhD in physics from Stanford University, before following his vocation to be a Dominican priest.

 St. Albert the Great was a Dominican, born around 1206, noted for his great works in the natural sciences. Among his students were St. Thomas Aquinas. St. Albert is the patron saint of scientists.
